Pop Star is a 1 vs. 3 minigame that appears in Mario Party 6.
Intro[]
Both sides are seen inflating their balloons a bit.
Gameplay[]
The two sides compete to inflate their balloon to the point where it pops, one side must pop their balloon before their opposing side to win. The solo player inflates their balloon by repeatedly hitting a pump with a hammer, while the team players inflate theirs by ground pounding on three pumps, with higher jumps pumping more air into the balloon.
The day and night difference is the effect that comes out of the balloons when they pop. During the day, bubbles come out, and during the night, stars come out.
Ending[]
The camera zooms into the side that popped their balloon first, which then shows them doing their victory animation(s).
